Talking about my art + a picturesque demise.

Sat Mar 14, 2009, 9:07 AM
I suppose all I can really say is that I am not the best at explaining and talking about my art for two reasons. One being that I am not a writer nor am I a reader, the only books I have read are Wheres Wally and the blurb on the back of Marilyn Manson's auto-bio.
Second being that I have/do lack resources, what you have seen in my DA gallery and around the web (if you've looked) is created with me(or model/subject), some hardware store lights and a blank wall - I always liked some mystery with that side of things but every now and again I have a dire need to throw it all out there for everyone that watches to see. This is the first time I'm going with that dire need.
I describe myself as a photo-artist which birthed from me filming myself nude at about the age of 18 for sexual, obsessive and vanity related reasons.
At the speed of usb, at that exact moment uploading a small film of myself masturbating I realized that despite feeling like an ugly reject freak throughout most of my teen-aged existence that beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder, and behold I did.
Before the age of 19 nobody had seen me shirtless until I began posting some low quality stills of my barely 19 year old body on deviantART and other deviant places around the web, eventually taking them to a small gallery (where I also painted) to hang for display.
They disgusted some people, they turned some people on, one approached me with money asking me to meet in the toilet block adjacent and most memorably an 80 year old woman bought one, this is when (on top of rare beauty) I had a unique gift to give to people.
Amidst the three years since of my sexuality, hate, love, hurt, anger, sorrow, despair and some magazine submissions I have come from where I was then to where I am now without the degree!

I have an entire new leaf to turn as I am now ready to reach for the stars, I went from A to B and have a long way to go to Z(hopefully a picturesque demise).

hugoharlot.com will be up when I have enough fresh content to share.

Photos which are "Different" are what Sell. Photos that are "Different" catch a person's attention.

As Queen would boast in their 70's albums, "No synthesizers!" Except in my case, it's "No tablets!"

A thought just came to me as I was looking into your gallery again..even though you haven't updated. :XD:

Anyway, I just thought what you look like with no make-up. Just you in your natural looks. That would be interesting to see.
